We started our journey of "trying" to get pregnant in February 2020, we were so excited to see our family grow. We were in Florida at the time of my first "ovulation" at the beginning of March. BABY UPDATE! 35 WEEKS: SYMPTOMS, BED REST & EXCITEMENT.

Reading that title you’re probably thinking… how can all three of those things co-exist?

Symptoms… bed rest… and excitement?

They do!

I think that’s a great lesson I’m taking away for life in general right now. Although some seasons may not be full of every single “ingredient” that you’d choose to throw into the mix… (7+ hours of medical appointments a week, early labour scares, bed rest, not doing anything even walking or standing too long…) you can STILL find joy, hope, love, and excitement along the way!

Sometime firsts are exciting, and sometimes firsts remind us that we lack experience or knowledge in a certain area….

Our first Doctor’s appointment in context of pregnancy was both.

Firstly, it was super interesting going to a clinic during this season of C19. Signage & sanitizer, masks & face shields & oddly quiet waiting rooms as they’ve spaced out the appointments to over people overlap.

BONNE BABY!

I couldn’t wait any longer. WE’RE PREGNANT!

6 weeks was long enough for me to NOT share the journey with you all. And that’s just what it is a journey! I understand a lot of people wait to share their news, and for good reasons. But I’m such an open book with my life in pretty well all other areas, I wanted to share this journey with you now, even in it’s early stages!

So here’s how it happened… well sex of course. LOL, no but not that part.
